We have had our first heat wave of the summer, and more will come. It’s been a long winter, so let’s recall some basic summer safety issues. For some, especially the elderly, heat exhaustion can come quickly, and may be fatal. Too many will go out unprepared for sun, and develop a burn that could lead to cancer in later years.
