by Brandon Carter Coastal Journal staff I was once instructed point blank by a music store rep not to buy the headphones I had in my hand. They were a pair of Coby CV-180s. I planned to replace the pair I had just broken because they were poorly designed for portability, an important feature for headphones, but sonically they were the best pair I had ever owned.
