BATH - Monday, June 9, Bath Middle School students engaged in a four mile "Walk For Change" through downtown Bath in support of humanitarian efforts to end cruelty to animals and to provide equal opportunities for children in the US and abroad.

BATH - Joseph Richards, age 68, died Sunday night at his 20A Windjammer Way apartment, apparently the victim of a fire accidentally started while smoking.  Richards was on oxygen, however, and the fire that may have otherwise smoldered for some time, giving him time to put it out or escape, instead caused the oxygen tanks in his living room to catch fire.
