Wiscasset Bay Gallery opens for summer |

WISCASSET - The Wiscasset Bay Gallery is holding its annual summer gala opening on Saturday, July 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Treats of Wiscasset will cater the event, which is free and open to the public. The celebration will coincide with the opening of “Artist Colonies of the New England Coast.” This exhibition features an important collection of paintings portraying locales from Monhegan Island to the artist colonies in Rockport, Massachusetts, Ogunquit, Maine and beyond. Works by contemporary New England artists will also be on display. “Artist Colonies of the New England Coast” will be on display at the Wiscasset Bay Gallery through Thursday, August 7.
