Two new artists debut at the Stable Gallery PDF Print E-mail
DAMRISCOTTA - The Water Street Artists at the Stable Gallery are excited to announce that Pamela Hansen and Bob Thomas will be featured artists at their next exhibit, “Add, Subtract, Assemble” which will run until July 8.   Hansen who paints in acrylic and oil uses a colorful palette to create unique compositions showing the dynamics and designs of reflections.  She recently had a successful show at Miles Memorial Hospital where her paintings were well-received.
Thomas, a self taught newcomer, is a painter and mixed media artist on canvas, wood and paper, and a photographer.  In the past he has exhibited his photographs in galleries in Maine and New Jersey.
The show, “Add, Subtract, Assemble” will also highlight assemblages by Bernice Rosenthal, appliqués by Barbara Bibotto and Jo Diggs, wood sculpture by Judy Tripp, felted bags by Judy Pendleton and pewter designs by Gladys Provost.
Now in its third year, The Water Street Artists at the Stable Gallery display the creative works of a juried group of talented Maine artists and artisans of superb quality and reputation.  Exhibits include paintings, fine jewelry, ceramics, furniture, textiles, glass, photography and sculpture.
The Stable Gallery is located at 26 Water Street, Damariscotta and is open seven days a week from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  For more information, call the Gallery at 563-1991.
