Historical Society needs yard sale items PDF Print E-mail
WOOLWICH - The Woolwich Historical Society will be celebrating Woolwich Day on August 2.  Part of the celebration is a town-wide yard sale that runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This year, the Society needs more items for the sale.  They also need items for the bake sale that happens concurrently.

“It’s been a busy summer,” said past director Gina Hamilton, “and I didn’t get the word out quickly enough in the newsletter.  So we’re asking people to donate what they can this week and early next week.”

Woolwich Day will also host the third annual Fiber Arts Show at the Nequasset Meetinghouse, and items for the show are also in demand.

For information about dropping off yard sale items or bake sale goods, call Debbie Locke at 443-5694.  If you can lend items for the Fiber Arts Show, or have a craft you would like to demonstrate on August 2, contact Amy Hennin at 443-2866.
