DISTINGUISHED HONORS
NEWPORT, RI - Joanne Kozlak McMahon, of Brunswick, Maine, a 1983 graduate of Salve Regina, was honored with the university’s Alumni Achievement Award during its recent Reunion Weekend. The award is given to Salve Regina graduates who are role models to students and alumni and have achieved significant civic or professional accomplishments.
BATH - Mahalia Gauld of Bath, daughter of Malcolm and Laura Gauld, received the Most Valuable Player award in girls' varsity lacrosse. Brittany Hardin of West Bath daughter of Loren and Connie Hardin, received the Excellence in Music Award(s) during her sophomore year at Hyde School, an independent, character-based school in Bath, ME.
WALTHAM, MA - Bentley's Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Robert D. Galliers, and Dean of Arts
and Science Catherine Davy recently named local student Aimee Laurie Tetu of Brunswick to the President's List. Tetu has achieved extraordinary academic achievement in the spring 2008 semester as a
sophomore majoring in management. To be named to the President's List, a full-time student must have a grade
point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.
MOUNT HERMON, MA - Sarah Shephard-Lupo of West Boothbay Harbor, Cum Laude Society, has received the William A. Knipe International Programs Award from Northfield Mount Hermon School.
