BATH — Kevin White, 43, of Bath, has had more than his share of contact with the criminal justice system during the month of July. He was arrested on June 1 for domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, and criminal mischief.
He was arrested again on June 30 on charges of aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs, two counts of furnishing liquor to a minor, two counts of allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor, two counts of unlawful sexual contact, two counts of unlawful sexual touching, and two counts of assault.
“We received a [sexual assault] complaint in May,” said Detective Sgt. Bob Savary of the Bath Police Department, “and then we received a second complaint of a domestic violence situation. He was arrested for that, and then he was released on bail.”
A month after that arrest and release, Bath Police returned to White's home, located at 140 Richardson St. in Bath, to investigate complaints of underage drinking and sexual assault.
According to police reports, the alleged victims were males younger than 18 years old, and were known to White. The scheduled drug named in the aggravated furnishing complaint was marijuana — “aggravated,” because the drugs were allegedly furnished to minors. The furnishing charge alone is a felony crime punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $5,000.
White could not post bail, which was set at $25,000, and so he is currently under wraps at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 18.
