BRUNSWICK — The public is invited invited to a community-wide health fair at Thomas Point Beach on Sunday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event highlights total well-being for the entire family. The midcoast region offers an abundance of healthy options that can be combined to promote total well-being. The intent of the health fair is to bring together these various health related resources in a venue that is both fun and informative.
Join with others from your community to explore how to prevent illness, manage illness, lose weight and make healthy choices. Take your time visiting the variety of booths featuring healthy food, free health testing, leading health authorities, assistance with financial recovery and living debt free, made-in-Maine goods, food tasting/cook-offs among several local restaurants, Red Cross blood drive, children's activities, and local fire departments.
Various gubernatorial candidates are slated to present their vision for Maine healthcare at this event. Here is your chance to meet each candidate and perhaps ask a question.
