DAMARISCOTTA — Have you met your ancestors? Will your grandchildren's children know them? Hand down traditions. Give your family the opportunity to know and cherish their heritage by coming to "Personal - Family History Writing . . . So the Children May Know." This one-session, introductory workshop takes place on May 10 at 1 p.m.

Writing your personal story is also a wonderful gift for your family, your children, your friends and loved ones. They learn more about you, your experience, what life has taught you and the lessons that can mean so much to them for their personal journeys.

Participants will also hear tips on tracing family roots (including the use of free Internet sites, asking the right questions and interviewing techniques). There is a $5 participant fee. Register by calling 563-1363 by May 9.
