DAMARISCOTTA — “Natures Palette,” artwork by Helen Warner in oil, watercolor and ink, continues at Pemaquid Watershed Association through Feb. 2 at the office-gallery, 584 Main St.

Warner, a resident of Newcastle, is inspired by the beauty and color of the natural world and her work tends toward subjects in nature. She was one of last month’s Peoples’ Choice winners at River Arts Gallery.

The luminous transparency of watercolor and its unpredictability continue to be fascinating, however, recently working in oils and alcohol ink has added a new dimension to her work.

Warner’s artwork melds nicely with PWA’s aim of promoting the conservation of local natural resources. She will be donating 35 percent of art sales from the show to PWA. Her work may be viewed from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Since 1966, Pemaquid Watershed Association has been a member-supported,volunteer-driven nonprofit organization. PWA’s mission is to conserve the natural resources of the Pemaquid peninsula through land and water stewardship and education.
