DAMARISCOTTA — The Kefauver Studio & Gallery in Damariscotta hosted the opening reception for the Rock ‘n’ Wave” show art show on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Many of the guest artists were present at the reception to discuss their work.

This is the third show of the 2018 season at the gallery. The show opened on Aug. 10 and runs until Sept. 9.

The show features new work by oil painter Will Kefauver and the work of his guest artists and includes images of Maine’s iconic rugged coastline.

The guest artists include one newcomer to the gallery, watercolorist Andrea Trimm. Returning guest artists include photographer Carl Root, oil painters George Baker, Lisa Kyle and Sally Loughridge, mixed-media artist Dale Dapkins, printmaker Deborah Kozak and Helen Warner, who works with alcohol ink.

“So much of what we love about Maine happens where water meets land,” Kefauver said. “And so many of our talented artists take on the opportunity to share the beauty of this junction through their work.”

The gallery is located at 144 Bristol Road. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Call 226-0974 or visit for more information.
