DAMARISCOTTA — The Kefauver Studio & Gallery is looking for artists to participate in the upcoming “Monhegan Days” art exhibit, the gallery’s fourth show of the season.

The show is scheduled to run from Sept. 14 to Oct. 7. According to a press release, the show will highlight Monhegan’s architecture and natural wonders.

Each submitted work must be an original creation and all mediums will be considered, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, photographs, sculpture and hand-pulled prints. All work must be professionally presented and ready for hanging or displaying.

Several artists will be selected to present their work at the show. The deadline for submission is Sunday, Sept. 2nd. There is no fee for entering, but a $15 fee will be charged to help cover exhibition costs.

The artist may price the work for sale. All sales and sales taxes will be handled by the gallery, which will retain a 35 percent commission.

An artists’ reception will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.
