BOOTHBAY — The Ghost of Paul Revere will be the headlining act on Sept. 22 at the Boothbay Food & Music Festival. This Maine based-band has a large following and often sells-out their performances around Maine and beyond.

Tickets for the Music Fest are $20 per person and will feature Dr. Zog at 5 p.m., followed by Motor Booty Affair at 6:30 p.m. and Ghost of Paul Revere at 8:30 p.m.

The festival will kick-off with the 7th annual Claw Down on Thursday, Sept. 20. Top chefs will compete head-to-head to bring their own unique take on the lobster bite.

The excitement continues with a dinner dance on Friday, Sept. 21, with dining and entertainment under the tent or stars at the Boothbay Harbor County Club. Rupert’s Orchestra will perform.

Family Fest will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lots of inflatables, games, live music by Dr. Zog and a performance by Wacky Chad. A balloon twisting clown and caricature artist will also be on hand.

This inaugural event is a community-wide effort led by local businesses leaders working together to bring this festival to the Boothbay community.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit several local non-profit organizations, three of which are focused on helping children and young adults from our region: Boothbay Region YMCA, Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund and the Boothbay Region Community Resources Council, as well as the Boothbay Railway Village.
